Q-TEL 2076

Q-Tel 2076 is a two-component, flexible, polyurethane foam used for filling a pedestal base with high strength, flexible foam. The flexibility of the foam provides a continuous seal in the event of frost heave or any movement of the pedestal. Q-Tel 2076 breaks the food chain by providing a barrier against insect and rodent travel in the pedestal. The foam has excellent adhesion to most surfaces and resists alkalis, dilute acids, moisture rot and rodent attack. When cured, Q-Tel 2076 can be easily removed to pull out cable or to open a previously sealed conduit for new cable installation. The water-blown chemistry makes the product safer to use for the installer and the environment. The packaging minimizes the possibility of contact with the installer and provides minimal waste. Using one small, divided bag to replace the gravel sacks offer considerable savings on shipping and storage costs. One 220gm divided bag will give 4" of foam in the bottom of a 6" diameter pedestal.
